What are the activities?
The activities of Building Dreams Together Inc. are to raise funds with the purpose of assisting families with young children in need of food, shelter, educational opportunities, childcare and spiritual guidance referral. Building Dreams Together Inc. has structured as part of it's activities, events such as; fund raisers, raffles, bake sales, auction banquets, and the operation of a thrift store to help raise funds to further the organization's purpose.
Who conducts the activity?
Officers, members, agents and volunteers of the organization conduct such activities accordingly.
When is the activity conducted?
The activities are conducted regularly throughout the year. Scheduling will depend on:
public demand,
budgeting, and
availability of resources
What region is the activity conducted in?
The Organization’s target delivery area is mainly the Central Florida region of Florida State (counties of Seminole, Orange and Osceola) and will extend to other regions both in and out of the state as well as in South America as opportunities become available.
How does the activity further your exempt purposes?
The Organization was formed for charitable purposes to assist needy children, families and communities at risk. The delivery of our activities, events and operations are directly targeted to further the purpose of our organization.
What percentage of your total time is allocated to the activity?
The Organization allocates time as follows:
30%: administration and marketing – includes updating the website, processing public donations, coordinating facilities and other activities related to operations
60%: delivery of fundraiser events, coordination and operation of projects and business operation of thrift store.
10%: research and development – includes expanding and enhancing resources, educational material for families and networking with other organizations.
How is the activity funded?
Our operations are funded primarily through contributions from the public, including, but not limited to individuals, nonprofit organizations, government agencies and corporations.
